  Compendium of articles about the different roles or masks of Dionysus. Each article is written by a different author, ranging from very profound to incomprehensible. This makes the book a very uneven read but still worthwhile for the few gems of wisdom.

  Includes several articles about Dionysus. This is excellent material on the origin of Dionysus and his many names.

  Briefly mentions Dionysus in his role of "goes", speaker to spirits.

  Well researched and well written information on the history and worship of Dionysus in historical times with some surprising conclusions.

  Very good information on the history of Dionysus but tends to emphesis the darker aspects of his nature and worship.
• Paris, Ginette (1990) Pagan Grace: Dionysos, Hermes, and Goddess Memory in Daily Life, Woodstock, CN: Spring Publications, Inc., ISBN 0-88214-342-5
  Excellent material on how to relate to Dionysus and bring his aspects into a person's daily life. However, the author states clearly in the introduction that she considers the Immortals to be Jungian Archetypes.
