Ελληοταμιαι [elleeno TA mee], Stewards of
Hellas, is a fellowship and study group for Hellenic Polytheists within the Washington, DC metro area (including
southern Maryland, northern Virginia and the District of Columbia). We discuss methods of practicing the Hellenic
Polytheism religion in modern times; definitions and methods of applying Hellenic values related to life style, family
and community life; and methods of recreating Hellenic festivals with the goal of making some of them available to the
pagan community.
Anyone with the desire to honor the Immortal Olympians in a respectful manner may become a member. Our group is open to
all who respectfully worship in the Hellenic tradition regardless of ethnic origin, color, creed, social status, sexual
orientation or physical ability. Disrepect of others beliefs will not be tolerated while in organization activities. We
ask members to take an oath of ethical conduct but will rely on the Immortals to punish any indescretions. The member
may, however, be barred from organization activities until the ethical issue is resolved and the member undergoes a
cleansing ritual.
